finally, the family is complete again. three days with no parents and younger brother was definitely different. i LOL-ed so bad last night when my mum told us about some lady who was trying to pick up my dad at the casino cos she didn't think my dad still had value. HAHAHAHAHAHA. good to know, mum! march 31st is when they'll be off again. till then, im gona immerse myself in work, friends, family and 'school'. adios amigo!

So...

i've been reading lately. no prizes for guessing what book, ever since i got cullen crazy. so, back to reading. it's like my escape now. from everything. i think i've been couped up too much. that, coupled with everything else that's going on is making everyday feel like a mess. and to top it off, i lost weight, again. and no, that wasn't one of my resolutions. i never really got down to making them. anyways, i just got started with eclipse. i know, not very good timing but again, escape. new moon was crazy depressing. glad i got done with it sooner. reading the past few days have made me miss reading. does that make sense? you know, like you get so engrossed in it you dont want to put the book down eventhough there's like a million other things that need to be accomplished. and the book makes you feel. joy, sadness, fury, rage, depression, anger. it's difficult to find a good read nowadays. but least i've still one more book to get through. then maybe i just might start all over again.

1. I've gotten gold in every NAPFA test i've sat for.
2. I think i'm everything-inclined except for musically (note: the recorder doesn't count cos it was mandatory)
3. I used to have a lazy eye when i was younger hence the eyesight of L:25 and R: 225 now.
4. I had a pet iguana & a baby snake when everyone else had a pet goldfish/hamster whatever.
5. I laughed at this really really short guy once when i was a kid. Turns out, he was a midget. (like i knew any better at that age!)
6. I'd always plop myself in front of the tv when i got home from the child care centre to watch sesame street.
7. Once, when i was out with my parents, this stranger looked at me, looked at my parents, then looked at me again. Apparently, he was wondering why this little chinese girl had an american accent cos neither of my parents were american, obviously. (sesame street, much?)
8. My parents actually thought of naming me April but didn't cos it was too english.
9. I was the only prefect in my class in P3.
10. I thought aaron carter was the bomb when i was younger.
11. I never liked milk that came from the carton. Powdered milk FTW.
12. I was a brownie in primary school.
13. I was born at 13:03 on 1404.
14. I drink.
15. I had the biggest crush ever on rask christian leong nimb inP5.
16. I cried when my mum forced me to wear a dress for my then best friend's birthday party when i was 9. ( i was in that tomboy phase at the time)
17. I'd always eat hotcakes during family mac breakfast visits but always only finish 2 out of the three.
18. I sleep like a rock. Mummy always says i'd never know if a hurricane hits/ fire breaks out/ the building collapses.
19. I'm ocd when it comes to my handwriting. Every letter has to be the way i want it to look like otherwise i'll erase it and rewrite it again.

day off today! SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!
makes the long weekend a helluva lot longer for me. yay me!
never has waking up at 8+ (blame the biological clock) felt this good.
a whole day of chillax-ing with no computer to stare at, no bus to rush for, no lunch table to chope.
damn, this is the holiday i've been missing out on.

heroes is back on! PSYCHEDDD!
to add to my list of GG & the hills.

this week is gona get pretty exciting! payday is comingggggggg! like the day after tmr. though the pay is like bloody meagre but hey, i sat around alot surfing and going online so, it's not so bad. then, there's F1. STOKEDDD! lewis hamilton babeh! and then, and then, HARI RAYA! jeng jeng jeng. more ka-ching! AHAHHAHAHA.

okay, so everybody is talking about how (fill in the blanks) their work is. so i'll start on mine!
besides the fact that i've extremely nice colleagues and supervisors, besides the fact that everyday is dress down friday (it's like i'm going to school), besides the fact that the canteen food is on the cheap side, besides the fact that my supervisor's supervisor just got her hair dyed purple (yes, purple, you heard it right), besides the fact that it takes me 5482906740983 years to reach work eveyday, besides having the daily lunch at our reunioun table with the marketing people,

i think work hasn't turned out like what i thought it would be. but who knows right? i'm gona be transferred to another department for a coupla days maybe to help with some stuff. i feel so news savvy now. even my parents are asking me what's on the news. well, having a telly in the office dedicated to channel news asia sure does wonders! suzanne jung is like damnnnn prettyyyyyyyyy know! and i saw the primetime morning set and all the dj booths and all that. mighty cool!

okay, gotta head to bed. tmr is midweek wednesday already! two more days till the weekends.

THREE RIVERS, Mich. (WOOD) -- A local 'Joker' was arrested just after midnight on Sunday when police say he was trying to steal Batman memorabilia from a local theater.

The 'Joker' was identified as 20-year-old Spencer Taylor of Three Rivers. He came to the theater in full costume that resembled the 'Joker" character of Batman fame.

Employees of the Three Rivers Cinema 6 saw Taylor trying to steal memorabilia and posters for the movie "The Dark Knight," the latest installment in the Batman series.

They restrained him and called police.

Taylor was arrested and booked on felony larceny and malicious destruction of property charges.

man, what a whirlwind of a week. from experiencing yet another major setback to an extremely euphoric high. this week has undoubtedly been the most happening, of sorts. got my 30 points for napfa. hoho! cleared up some doubts regarding my sip. sip is so about getting a good place (check), a partner (check) and ka-ching however meagre (not check). i honestly think that i won't be doing what i'm studying now. and the apel talk thingy sorta confirmed that. anywaysssss, CRA assignment is dunzo. time to prep for presentation. gosh, the last time i did a presentation was like i-cant-even-remember!

i finally burnt plastic on friday! well, my brother's plastic to be exact. hohoho. and i saw wei jia's girl! and i accidentally slammed the car door on my finger when i went to lunch with J. it hurt balls and now, there's like a depression in my nail. went to buangkok last night in search of this place to eat but my dad got the block number mixed up so we ended up eating at changi village. went out to buangkok again today. so typical singaporean right?! will go anywhere for food. my dad ~~struck 4D~~ got lucky today. WM was sent back to the hospital today. poor boy is seriously suffering. speaking of suffering, my back is aching like hell. i so need to stop slouching. and i've an ugly scab on my knee. all thanks to my sliding during warm-ups last week. and mind you, my kneepads were on. N & L were being idiots when i told them bending my knee felt weird.

okay, my thoughts are so incoherent. i've yet to do my tutorials, do apel (geez, 500 words. like when was the last time i wrote that many words?? errr, like never!) study, cut my nails, pack my shelf and a gazillion and one other things la. okay, project J is underway. all i need is thumbtacks and clips. gotta stock up tmr.

so, i was walking out of the theatre after watching kungfu panda (which by the way was extremely, extremely funny. i couldn't stop laughing. but what i'm wondering is why the town folk are mainly rabbits and pigs and geese. anyways, i especially loved the part where po's dad was like leaning into his ear wanting to tell him something. i thought he was like gona tell him that he wasn't his real dad, cos like goose dad and panda son, where's the link right! then comes the stupid-est there-is-no-secret-to-my-secret-recipe shit. okay, alot of side tracking) and i saw this poster (up top) and apparently it's coming out soon. then i'm like HUHHHHH?!! didn't i just watch this on ~~hbo~~ star movies a few days back?!!! so i googled abit and you'd never guess! this was like a 2006 production. and they're only releasing it nowwwwwwwwwww?!! okay, anyways, not to spoil too much of it, it's the typical guy switch body with girl who want to ruin each other's rep but end up falling in love. worth the watch i suppose plus kevin zegers is damn CUTEEEE! hohoho. okay, gtg bye, it's showing now!

ahhhhhhhhhh yes, apple crumble is the sex! especially when it's mum's homemade apple pie coupled with good ol' choc ice cream. too bad the ice cream wasn't homemade, if not, it'd be stellar.

so, it's the last stretch of them school holidays and i've to go back for a couple days. i gotta hit the books and complete whatever it is that i have to do. gawd, i'm so not looking forward to getting the tests back. one word: NERVE-WRECKING. okay, i'm off for my daily run now. toodles!
